AdDU alumnus Alvin A. Te (CS 1995) now a Franciscan Priest
On January 8 , 2012, ADDU alumnus and Franciscan priest, Fr. Jose Alvin Amigleo Te, OFM presided at the 7 a.m. Sunday Mass in our University Chapel. It was a happy event attended by Fr. Alvin’s parents and family, relatives and friends. It was a happy Balik-Davao and a Balik-Campus event for Fr. Alvin. Congratulations to Fr. Alvin Te!
Fr. Te graduated at the AdDU in 1995 with a BS in Computer Science degree. He is the son of Henry U. Te (GS’62, HS’66) and Maria Zenaida Amigleo-Te (BSC’68). Fr. Te migrated to Canada and then joined the Franciscans in 2001. He is a member of the Franciscan Province of the Immaculate Conception, based in New York. After finishing his philosophy and theology studies at the Antonianum Pontifical University in Rome, Fr. Alvin was ordained a priest on April 24, 2010 at St. Anthony Parish in New York City. He is now assigned as an associate at a parish in Woodbridge, a town just outside Toronto, Canada. He will return to his Parish in Woodbridge after his vacation in Davao. Happy trip back to cold, cold Canada!
My thanks to Fr. Alvin for sharing the pictures of his Ordination to the Priesthood in New York and of his 1st Mass at our AdDU Chapel.
With warm regards and best wishes for a Happy, Blessing-filled Year of the Dragon on January 23rd,
Fr. Renato C. Ocampo, S.J.
